The Update Service is part of the Redfish Specification.
As part of this proposal we aim to stand up a Redfish Update Service. Initially this service will mainly implement the SimpleUpdate Action (as defined by the spec). It will also stand up the APIs that are related to that.
Some discussions are going on within DMTF with regards to how an Update Service will work and behave with in the scope of aggregation. These discussions are minor but will still need to settle before we move forward with implementing the service.
