The attached document describes DMTF Redfish® support for data center fabrics and how any network fabric manager can interface to the Resource Aggregator for ODIM™. To date, the networking industry lacks a standards based data model that accommodates multi-vendor, multi-network fabric configuration and operations while leaving implementation specific per switch configuration logic to the networking vendor and their supported feature sets. DMTF Redfish is a widely adopted data model, services and API for the compute industry. By extending DMTF Redfish ‘Fabric’ schemas, the intention is to fill that gap such that any northbound client can make use of a single set of APIs and data model to configure and manage all infrastructure across a data center, including data center fabrics
