Proposed Agenda

Intro

Piotr asked about the recording and Louis said he would add it. Then it was
decided that Susan would get the lastpass app and manage the recordings.
Alex wanted to add something to the agenda (liaison between DMTF and Anuket?)
but as he had to skip out after 30 minutes it was decided. that we push that till next week.

Jira

Somebody asked what is the advantage of Jira.
By using Jira we can also be federated by other projects (sharing bug links and
stuff). We discussed a bit on if we wanted to adopt the same process with Jira
as ONAP has. It seemed everybody agreed that was a good approach.
We noted that ONAP is not using any points for stories

Marketing Advisory Council Board

We need might want to have a representative from ODIM. We agreed that whoever is a volunteer can
make that known by email and we can vote next TSC. The effort is 2 hours a month.

LFN Developer & Testing Forum

We need to add topics for ODIM. There is also a program committee lead for ODIM needed. Volunteers?

  1. Marketing Liaison/Rep

    • The Marketing Advisory Council (MAC) is a forum for marketing and communications professionals and other volunteers that develops and applies marketing best practices to help LFN achieve its goals.
    • The MAC is responsible for
      • i) interfacing with the Governing Board with respect to the Governing Board’s goals for marketing and outreach for the Directed Fund and support of the Technical Projects;
      • ii) designing and developing, with input from the Governing Board and, as appropriate, the Technical Projects, an umbrella marketing and outreach plan (the “Marketing Plan”), which Marketing Plan is subject to approval by the Governing Board
      • iii) engaging with the Technical Projects to identify their respective and collective needs from a marketing and outreach perspective and to reflect those needs, consistent with available resources, in the Marketing Plan
      • iv) coordinating the Directed Fund’s outbound outreach, communications and engagement with the communities and external audiences, including events, tradeshows, websites, etc.
      • v) establishing outreach working groups as needed (e.g., to coordinate project or technical area marketing needs), subject to approval of the Governing Board; and
      • vi) such other matters related to marketing as may be directed to the MAC by the Governing Board.
    • Each LFN Project is encouraged to assign a project representative to the MAC in order to advocate for the project’s marketing needs and help sync the project’s outreach/positioning/messaging/communications within the LFN umbrella.
    • The time commitment is minimal; liaisons are expected to contribute 1-2 hours a month to attend the monthly MAC call and coordinate as needed with LFN Staff.
    • Please reach out to Brandon Wick (bwick@linuxfoundation.org) with any questions.
